By adjusting the sensitivity setting to see more accurate sizes, you get a useful idea if the fish below are the large intimidating types. A 200KHZ sonar transducer beam offers a 45 degree detection zone with an effective range of vision from 1m-100m.  This powerful sonar along with the LCD display makes it easy to identify what’s happening beneath you. Including clear indicators for the water’s depth, fish depth,  location, weed and contour. It’s an easy to use interface for selecting your settings which includes an alert option for when the fish are in close proximity.

This high tech gear is a handy hack for almost every type of fisherman. Fix the position needed, throw in the sensor and let it float down the water. Or attach it to the bottom hull of your boat or kayak with the side scan adapter. The sonar transducer is the beginning point for all the visible distance measurements.

    Good value and sensitive.

It was very accurate for depth in the river. Only issue I found is it is really sensitive and alerts even on the tiny babies. But where there are babies there are adult fish usually.

  2. Justin L. Cummings

    Works great!

Works great. No backlight, so not great for night fishing. But otherwise good. Small, about the size of a cell phone. Very portable.

  3. C. Tom

It is a small, portable item that spots the fish.

It does what it claims. Accurate and portable for finding and locating the fish. Easy to use, not complicated.

  4. Osprey

    Good device

This is a good fish finder device. Quality is good, it is simple to operate, and it seems to be doing a good job of locating fish.

    Pretty Nice Fish Finder!!

This is a good fish finder than I expected before I bought it. Before I bought this product, I think it is a kind of toy and not expect it to work well. This is because the price was so cheaper than other products. I actually have Garmin Striker 4 and compare both devices at the same time. There was a little bit different but mostly showed accurate information about fishes. It’s okay this product price is 1/3 of Garmin one. I really like this one. This is so portable and easy to use. I recommend buying this if you do not have any fishfinder or first time to buy a fish finder.

    Don’t buy this

Works for a short time and when it does work it’s not accurate I was in a lake called marsh creek in downingtown pa where the water is 40 to 80 feet deep and fish find tells me it’s only ten feet so no five stars until item is improved

Chose this over Garmin/Hummingbird and I’m impressed!!

I prefer the simplicity of this unit over the Garmin or Hummingbird which are twice the price. I like the features of the other unit, but could use my smart phone for the extra features like GPS. While the other units pickup fish better and have less false positives, this unit is almost as good with a very good price point. The depth is accurate, as with the type of structure below. Seems to be picking up fish accurate. I’m very happy so far! Mounted on my transom with a phone holder for the screen mount.

It worked much better than I expected for the price

It worked much better than I expected for the price . I never used a fish finder before and it was easy to use. I took it to a lake that I had a map of. I went to a spot in the lake and checked the depth and it was very close to what the map said. Then I checked a spot that I had caught fish before and it said there was fish there and I caught fish there. It works great.

    Perfect for the money

On my inflatable pontoon boat it works great. So good for such a small pkg

  10. Amazon Customer

    It’s…..OK

It is very basic and simple. I’m not sure how accurate it is. I practiced using it in a pool that was 10 feet deep and the tool kept reading it as 18 feet. I don’t know how accurate it is displaying if there are fish or not under the kayak, if they are I think there is a pretty moderate delay. Fun toy for the kids to play around with on the boat, but I’m not sure if I really wanted to catch fish how much I would rely on it.

    Not waterproof

So I took it fishing this weekend up north and when I pulled the beacon out of the water, A little bit of water got on the backside of the main screen by the batteries and it will not work now! I’m so so disappointed because I used it once. Spent almost $50 for this birthday present to myself and I got to use it for an hour and now it won’t turn on. So bummed. Hope the owners read this.

    Not water resistant

First time using in kayak in Ocean somehow got wet and water inside of battery compartment then shorted unit out now no good.

    It’s good Device

It’s good device, it can tell how deep the water and detect the fish. I didn’t catch any which not the device problem. I’m giving this purchase 4 stars because the battery, it didn’t last for one day.

  14. Lance Baumhour
